Return Policy
Receipts are required for all returns and exchanges. If you do not request or receive a receipt at the time of purchase, you may not be eligible to return or exchange your item.
Final Sale Items
Textiles, posters, and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
General Returns & Exchanges
Merchandise may be returned or exchanged if it is current, unused, and in saleable condition.
If you received damaged or defective merchandise, please contact Customer Service at (207) 775-6148, ext. 3219.
Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. No cash or check refunds will be provided.
Gift Returns
Refunds for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser at the price paid, provided the original order can be identified.
Refund Value Without a Receipt
If a return is accepted without a receipt, the refund will be issued at the current selling price.
Shipping for Exchanges
When requesting an exchange, please include the appropriate shipping charge for your replacement item.

Sales Tax
Sales tax is required for purchases delivered within the state of Maine only. The state of Maine charges tax at the rate of 5.5%. Tax on merchandise will be computed before shipping and delivery charges.

Privacy Policy
The Portland Museum of Art is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its online guests, customers, members, donors, and friends. We do not collect personally identifiable information about individuals — such as their names and postal and/or email addresses — except when it is knowingly provided by such individuals. When you make a purchase online in the PMA Store we will ask you to provide only the personal information necessary to fulfill your order — this includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, and credit card number. This is the same information requested when you place an order by telephone or through the mail. For online orders we also require your email address so you can receive order and shipping confirmation emails and so we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order.
