Marguerite & William Zorach: Harmonies and Contrasts
Artists Marguerite Zorach (1887-1968) and William Zorach (1887-1966), parents of Dahlov Ipcar, spent much of their lives in New England and owned a farm in Georgetown, Maine. Working in the media of sculpture, painting, and printmaking, the couple were early exponents of modernism in America. This handsome catalogue, which features numerous full-color plates and black-and-white photographs, was printed in conjunction with an exhibition celebrating their work and their contribution to the arts in Maine, which ran at the PMA November 8, 2001 — January 6, 2002.
