McLellan House Pattern Tie

These ties are inspired by the décor of the PMA’s historic 1801 McLellan House. In 2002, a team of curators, architects, and makers restored the building to how it appeared in the early 19th century. This team of experts researched the history of the McLellan House and other homes in the neighborhood, settling on the restoration’s beautiful, handprinted wallpaper, which is historically accurate and theorized to be inspired by French arabesques and Grecian urns, as was fashionable at the time. The McLellan House ties bring this lineage of historical elegance to your wardrobe.
