Mark Rothko Book of Postcards
Some artists offer us fields of wine and roses. Mark Rothko, on the other hand, presents equally sumptuous fields of color in which to lose ourselves. A native of Russia, Rothko grew to become a leading figure in the school of New York Abstract painting. This postcard book includes Rothko highlights from the National Gallery. Mainly abstract works, a few figurative paintings round out the collection.
Published with the National Gallery of Art.
Thirty color reproductions bound in a handy postcard collection.
