By Land and Sea: The Quest of James Fitzgerald


Watercolorist James Fitzgerald (1899-1971) spent the last part of his life on Maine's Monhegan Island. This PMA exhibition (May 2 — July 19, 1992) showcased the artist's vivid portrayals of the natural world and man's relationship with it, with a special focus on the nautical life.
